The typical conventions to a music video from the genre wrap, would be Bling on their body for example around their neck they would have a gold chain. Another feature of a wrapping music video would be that the wrapper nine times out of ten would be black. The wrapper would also be wearing slightly baggie clothes and would be wearing a flat cap or a snap back. Another convention of a wrap video is that there are pretty much always girls involved. Another convention of this music video is nice cars as well. Money is also a convention from the wrap genre, however it isn't shown in every video. Drugs is also a convention within the genre.
In the pop genre artist are styled in fashionable, stylish and mainstream outfits. Artist are portrayed to be happy and enjoying life in the video. The lyrics nearly all the time are about love. Artists are very sexual and seductive in their videos to lure the audience in. The artist, (in this case one direction) are made to look very innocent.
